Who is responsible

The controller of personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Theodoros Tsavlidis, trading as Metras, an individual business in Greece, Digeni 3, 56123 Thessaloniki, Greece. Metras is a trademark registered in Greece.

In short

• Games and settings are saved on your device. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
• There is no account and no sign-in.
• The app has no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
• Collections are bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and we receive no payment details.
• A problem report is sent only if you choose to send it.

What the app does with your data

The app saves your settings and the game in progress on your device, so you can continue later. Depending on the game, this includes board positions, turns, scores, drawings and words, fleet positions and the appearance you chose. We do not receive this data, and the app does not send it to any server.

Your device may include the app’s data in iCloud or computer backups, according to your backup settings. Those backups are handled by the operating system. Deleting the app removes its data from the device.

The app does not collect personal data about you, and it does not contain third-party analytics, advertising or tracking software.

Collection purchases

Collections are optional one-time purchases made through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and the purchase records under Apple’s privacy policy. We receive no payment data and no information that identifies you. The app only checks with Apple’s StoreKit system on your device which collections you own.

Problem reports

In Settings › Report a problem you can write a description and, if you want, add the app version, iOS version and device model. You see the whole report before it leaves the app, and you choose whether to email it or share it. Nothing is sent automatically, and the report never includes your saved games, drawings, hidden words or fleets.

Apple diagnostics

If you have allowed it in your device settings, Apple may share anonymous crash and performance reports with us. We use them only to fix problems. You can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

When you contact us

If you write to partida@playmetras.com, we use your email address and your message only to answer you and to keep a record of the request. We keep it for as long as needed for that purpose. We do not sell it or use it for marketing.

We process it because it is necessary to answer your request (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have it corrected or erased;
• restrict or object to its processing;
• receive it in a portable format, where this applies;
• complain to a supervisory authority. In Greece this is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, or the authority in the country where you live.

To use these rights, write to partida@playmetras.com. Because the app keeps your games only on your device, we cannot see or delete them for you; you control them in the app.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included. If Ask to Buy is on, the family organiser approves every purchase. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to partida@playmetras.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Visits to this website are covered by the website privacy policy.
